Viewing ancient monuments

I talked about standing in front of the Pyramids so many years ago and of the excitement and mounting adrenaline I felt at that moment. There are so many monuments and sites in the world I would like to see and rekindle those same emotions.

I would like to invite you to share special travel moments with me. Have you ever visited a great place or seen a special temple, sacred place or monument that evoked such deep feelings?

Welcome to our first blog. Rosa is teaching me all the wonderful things we can do here like research, discussions, giving opinions, linking to other sites and even adding photos/pictures. WOW I am so excited and thrilled. Remember the word we talked about today-something thrilling-the feeling you get when you are standing in front of a beautiful building or monument. For me it was standing before the Pyramids of Egypt, they took my breath away.

For our first post, I would like you to write about yourself, what city you come from and some interesting places and things to do if someone came to visit your city. What also would be the most thrilling place or monument you would visit?
